Connect your mobile to the home router network and walk around your home. Keep your eye on the Wi-Fi indicator icon on your mobile. If the Wi-Fi signal is lost is too weak, this is the right place to install your extender.

Use these steps for MSRM US302 Repeater setup

  • Plug the extender into a working electric outlet. 
  • Open WI-FI settings in your phone/pc/laptop and enable Wi-Fi. Wait until all nearby active networks list appear. Tap on the MSRM_EXT network and connect with it.

TIP: If the network is secured and asking for the password, find the details at the backside of your repeater on the sticker. 

  • Once your device is connected to the MSRM network, then open any web browser on the same device. Type MSRM WiFi Extender defaults IP 192.168.10.1 or ap.setup msrm to get the MSRM login page.   
  • You have to submit the asking details for 192.168.10.1 msrm login.

 Enter username : (admin), Password : (admin). 

  • On the main admin setting page choose what mode you want to configure,  recommended “repeater mode”.
  • Now, tap on your host router network to connect your extender and enter your Wi-FI password.  

TIP: You can create a new network or can continue with the existing network. If you do not want to connect your Wi-Fi devices again to a new network then you can continue with the existing network. 

  • After changing all the settings as per your need, click to ‘save’ button.

Different modes on MSRM US302 Extender

This extender offers three different modes which are very useful : 

 

Access-point Mode: This mode is used to convert a wired connection into a wireless network. If you have too many devices that need an internet connection, you can use access-point mode. 

 

Repeater Mode: The repeater mode allows you for high-speed and wide-range internet connection. It will boost the existing network of your home. If you already have an active internet connection, then repeater mode is ideal for you to extend the existing network. 

 

Router Mode: In this mode, a new private wireless network can be created and shared the network to multiple devices. If you have a modem connection you can turn your repeater into a router if you don’t have a router. 

MSRM US302 Range Extender Login via 192.168.10.1

To login

  • Turn on your extender. (let it start properly, takes approximately 1 to 3 minutes). 
  • Connect a LAN cable from the extender to the computer. Can also use WI-FI to connect.
  • Launch any web browser on the same device and access 192.168.10.1 to get the login page. 
  • Enter username: admin and password: admin, click to log in. 

Setup MSRM US302 via WPS

WPS method is a fast and easy method to connect with your router. You need to ensure the WPS functions on your router. If not available use the wired method to configure. 

 

Plug your extender near the wireless router and press the WPS button of the router. Using the same way, press the WPS of the extender and wait for some time. 

 

The MSRM extender will automatically find the nearby active WPS connection and connect with it. 

 

Now the extender is connected to the router. The Extender SSID will remain the same as the host router, just the last three digits will change to _EXT.
